Trip Cost:
The cost of the trip is approximately $2850.00 per person. Money will be raised by participants. Each participant will receive the following:

The deadline for signup is August 15th.
To signup you must make a down payment of $500, which will be used towards your trip cost.
Background:
Over a million innocent children are orphaned or abandoned in Zimbabwe
due to the devastating HIV/AIDS crisis. These orphans struggle for necessities: food, clothing, education and medicine. The situation is made worse by a shrinking economy and sanctions.
Objectives:
Heart4Kids seeks to protect these children by providing them with food, clothing, educational and medical assistance, and above all hope. The mission is humanitarian in nature. The goal being to bring the children as many supplies as possible and spend time doing what is necessary to help the situation. In addition, Heart4Kids wants to grow the number of people who can be witnesses and voices for the children. We strongly believe that meeting the children in person is the best way to ensure the continued protection of these precious kids.
Activities:
Visit partner orphanages and schools.
Meet with Elders and Care-Takers
Spend time with the children – reading, crafts, play sports
Improve the children’s living conditions through
Planting and cultivating gardens,
Cleaning and Painting
Arts and Crafts
Travel Arrangements:
Leaving and returning to Atlanta will consist of two flights:
Delta (Atlanta to Johannesburg)
South African Airways (Johannesburg to Harare)
Accommodations:
The team will stay at an International Hotel in Harare, Zimbabwe. Rooms will be reserved under a double occupancy rate.
Meals
Two meals per day while on the ground in Zimbabwe (excluding travel days) will be provided.
